PERSONALISED
We want to give our participants the chance to live their best life. We understand that there is no one size fits all approach when it comes to the journey of life, but we are here to help people reach their peak, whatever that might look like to them.
SUPPORTED
Our aim is to provide our clients with a range of supports that will help them learn, grow and achieve.
We do this by giving our clients the opportunity to get out of their comfort zones, whilst providing a safe and encouraging environment for them to do so.
FOSTERED
With this support we believe that our clients will foster better relationships, form better habits and are more likely to achieve the goals and outcomes they are looking for.
hi, i’m jack o’brien and i am the founder of active allsorts
I have worked in disability care for the last 7 years.
Over those years it has given me great joy supporting clients to develop strategies to help them meet and exceed their goals.
Prior to working in the disability sector I worked in the Sport and leisure field, giving me the opportunity to combine my love for travel whilst working. During this time, I worked in the USA as a camp counsellor, teaching water skiing and wakeboarding at a sleep away camp. I worked as an activities instructor at an island resort in the Whitsundays. When I met my wife, I continued travelling the world with her. Along the way we met all sorts of people, travelled to all sorts of places and went on all sorts of adventures… and that’s how our name & motto came about, because life’s pretty fun if you open yourself up to all three.

what we provide
Currently our business is based around individual supports with a focus on community & social inclusion: what this means is we do not have a fixed address. We provide support within the community and can provide in-home supports. Supports will be provided to our clients to help them access and participate in community & recreational activities; those who live independently will be assisted to maintain their accommodation and keep up their activities of daily living (eg. bathing and showering, personal hygiene and grooming, dressing).
